Seirei Christopher Elementary School aims to provide an education that celebrates and nurtures the best in every child.
Our teachers embrace each child as a unique individual, sincerely wishing for their well-being and encouraging their holistic development.
The cornerstones of our educational philosophy are the “The dignity of life” and “Love Thy Neighbor.” We strive to create communities and learning environments that uphold the human rights of children, their peers, and ultimately, all people worldwide. Our foundation is to instill in children a belief in their own importance, respect for others, a compassionate connection with their neighbors, and a sincere desire to cultivate their own strengths and potential.
Seirei Christopher Elementary School emphasizes the development of individual identity. We deeply respect each child’s unique qualities and independence, encouraging them to act responsibly based on their own will and judgment. We foster self-assured learners who are supported and guided in their growth, while cultivating a desire to contribute to a better world and an understanding of their interconnectedness with the global community.
The school’s founding philosophy is rooted in Christian principles, particularly the commandment to “love Thy Neighbor.” This philosophy embodies the idea of living in harmony and community with others.
Based on the Christian principle of ”Love Thy Neighbor”, we aim to cultivate individuals who understand Japanese culture and can contribute to the global community. With English immersion education and inquiry-based learning as our core pillars, we nurture students’ ability to learn independently, think critically, and confidently take on various challenges, guiding each student with care.
Love of God We value life, act with love and conviction, and strive to make a positive impact on the world.
Love of Others We care for and respect others as we care for ourselves, fostering a supportive community.
Love of Inquiry We are curious and creative, embrace challenges, and expand our horizons through collaborative learning.
